1. Who we are
Digger is operated by Digger BV, a company registered in Belgium. We provide an AI-powered Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM designed for recruitment professionals. Our registered office is in Belgium, European Union. For any privacy-related inquiries, contact us at hello@digger.hr.
2. What data we collect
We collect data necessary to provide our recruitment platform services. This includes: account information (name, email, company), candidate data uploaded by our users (CVs, profiles, notes), usage data (how you interact with the platform), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device information). We do not collect data beyond what is necessary for the service.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and improve the Digger platform, process candidate matching and AI analysis, communicate with you about your account and our services, ensure platform security and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use candidate data for advertising.
4. Data processing & AI
Our AI matching engine processes candidate data to generate match scores and recommendations. All AI processing happens on EU-hosted infrastructure. Match scores are explainable — you can always see why a candidate was ranked a certain way. We do not use candidate data to train general-purpose AI models. Processing is limited to the specific recruitment context of each customer.
5. Data storage & security
All data is stored in EU data centers. Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We maintain regular backups and have disaster recovery procedures in place. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. See our Security page for more details.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Candidate data uploaded by users is retained according to the retention settings configured by each customer. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 90 days.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@digger.hr. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
8. Candidate rights
Candidates whose data is stored in Digger by our users can exercise their GDPR rights. Our users (the data controllers) are responsible for responding to candidate requests. We provide tools within the platform to facilitate data export and deletion requests. Candidates can also contact us directly at hello@digger.hr.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies required for the platform to function. We use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used (you can opt out). We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. The latest version is always available on this page.
